  3. Add salt and a little olive oil; fold the dough until smooth.
  4. Transfer the dough to an oiled pan and gently spread it with wet hands to fill the pan.
  5. Allow the dough to rise in a warm place for about 1 to 2 hours until it is puffed and light.

Toppings and Baking

  1. Press dimples into the dough with your fingertips.
  2. Drizzle additional olive oil over the dough and sprinkle with salt and herbs.
  3. Bake in a preheated oven for about 20 to 30 minutes or until the top is golden and crisp.
  4. Cool slightly, cut, and serve warm.

Use an active starter for best results; wet hands when spreading the dough to prevent sticking. Don’t overproof the dough and preheat the oven well for a better crust.
