- 1 pound ground turkey
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 teaspoons sriracha (adjust to taste)
- Cooked rice or quinoa for serving
Instructions
- Cook your rice or quinoa according to the package directions and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add ground turkey to the hot skillet and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula, approximately 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in the broccoli florets and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the broccoli is tender but still crisp.
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, and sriracha until well combined.
- Pour the sauce over the turkey and broccoli mixture in the skillet. Stir well to coat everything evenly.
- Allow the mixture to simmer for 2-3 minutes so the flavors meld together.
- Scoop the turkey and broccoli mixture over servings of rice or quinoa and enjoy!
Notes
Adjust the sriracha to suit your spice level. Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days.
