Description

Crumbl Birthday Cake Oreo Cookies are a rich, indulgent treat inspired by the iconic Crumbl bakery. These cookies combine the classic Oreo crunch with a soft, cake-like texture and a creamy birthday cake-flavored frosting, making them perfect for celebrations or a sweet indulgence any time.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 15 crushed Oreo cookies
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup rainbow sprinkles
  • 1/2 cup softened butter (for frosting)
  • 2 cups powdered sugar (for frosting)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (for frosting)
  • 2 tbsp milk (for frosting)
  • 1/4 tsp almond extract (optional, for frosting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla extract; beat until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until fully incorporated.
  6. Fold in crushed Oreo cookies, white chocolate chips, and sprinkles.
  7. Scoop dough into large balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 10–12 minutes or until edges are set but centers are still soft.
  9. Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  10. Meanwhile, prepare the frosting by beating the butter until creamy.
  11. Add powdered sugar gradually, then mix in vanilla extract, milk, and almond extract if using. Beat until fluffy.
  12. Once cookies are completely cool, frost the tops generously and decorate with extra sprinkles if desired.

Notes

  • Do not overbake – the cookies will continue to cook slightly on the baking sheet.
  • You can refrigerate the dough for 30 minutes for thicker cookies.
  • Feel free to use any flavor of Oreos for a fun twist.
  • Store frosted cookies in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
